How is it infected when you've only had it a day? Anyways just make sure you clean it thoroughly before going to bed.. sleep up right to avoid any touching. I hear putting some ice will relieve some pain but since a strand of hair even hurts.. put off the ice till tomorrow.
It is probably infected....
This is pretty normal. You can use an ice pack on the area to ease the pain and swelling, and take tylonal.
very very normal. it hurts really bad the first couple of days. just make sure to wear your hair back for a few days and make sure you clean it very well so it doesnt lead to infection.
infection
Just keep an eye out for red lines, sure sign of infection.
take it out. it's probably infected, or right on a nerve. either way, you're going to take it out anyway, just do it now. that really bad.
yes,
completely fine.
it will be sore for a little while.
but,
try maybe some ice or something cold,
that should help a bit.
Sorry man hope you feel better. Suffering for fashion.
Clean it with alcohol and remove the stud that's holding the hole in place. Go to your doctor as soon as you can and have it looked at for an infection. A fair amount of pain is expected with any new piercing, but chronic, incredible pain is not. Don't worry about losing the hole, they can always pierce you again (hopefully at a better establishment).
If it gets a red ring around it, it might be infected already. You just got it so give it a day your body just might be getting used to the foreign object in your body. If it doesn't feel better in a day or two I would definitely see a doctor.
Mine hurt like that for the first and second day then it was okay just keep cleaning it with the stuff they gave you and it'll probably be okay if not then go back to where you got it peirced and tell them.
what type of earring is in there? a stud? maybe it is on too tight or the back on crooked. It usually is pretty sensitive for awhile, or at least mine was --- make sure you keep cleaning it and I changed mine to a 14 kt gold hoop after a week and it helped ALOT ---
Where did you pierce it
depending on the place, you body might be rejecting it.
If not then,
yes its normal.
my septum hurt for more the 2 weeks, so did my ears
The first time I got mine done, it hurt like hell too! Try using a cotton ball and rubbing alchol and moving the earring in and out so it cleanses everywhere. But if you are getting any swelling, take it out NOW! If you get an infection it can swell so big that you can't take it out at all. If the pain continues (And I mean alot of pain, not just tenderness, that will be there for a week or two), get yourself to a doctor cuz you probably need antibiotics.
Good luck!
Christine and bittersweet are on Que.
Ice it, clean it, twist it in a few days, take some Tylenol to help reduce inflammation and sleep on your back.
its probably infected! sorry to tell you! but its ok. theres lots of ear drops and other thing you can get to solve this. the best part is they only take like 12 hours to act. go to the nearest doc office or now car facility! its simple cheap and easy. theyll diagnose you with an ear infection. and youll be cured. pretty much. or you could just go to a cub or target or some store like that and by antiinfection (anti whatever it is) and theyll probably be ear drops. just follow instructions.
Yes it's gonna hurt for a while, make sure you clean it a few times during the day with alcohol to ensure it won't get infected. Remeber to twirl it often, it's easier to twirl it with some antibiotic ointment , like neosporin.
I've got 2 cartlidge piercings on one ear, done at the same time, it took a good year before It wouldn't get sore from sleeping on it.
I'm going through the exact same situation. Mine is even bleeding a little bit. From what I've heard it's normal, I'm still going back to the piercer just to make sure though.
