The best things for migraines is to turn off all the lights and to rest. The best thing to take is 2 Ibuprofen. Light agrivates the migraine. She can go to the ER they will help her, but it might be a long wait. If she has these regularly she should see a doctor about preventative medicines.
Yes take her to urgent care and they will give her shot of migraine pain medicine. Then have her see her doc soon and get a script for something she can keep at home to use. Take her now though so she gets some relief.
They can give her drugs, a doctor may be able to give her a prescription for migraines.
I've heard there is not much else to be done if it is really a migraine that is bad :(
Get a plastic bag-- she may vomit-- cover her with a blanket- put on sunglasses- yes, even in the dark- light makes the migraines worse, and get her to the ER ASAP--- PS no radio-- she will be sound sensitive also....they will give her a shot and it will relieve the migraine within 10 minutes,,,,,,,,,,,,I swear..been there.
