I am a swimmer and some of the excircises we do really are a cause for bad calf cramps (charley horses), my swim coach tells me to eat Alot of bannanas daily, things with postassium in them. Oh and ketchup surprisenly has TONS of potassiim in it. You should slowly excircise your calf muscles by standing against a wall and putting the calf muslcle of your coice against the wall and the other one stretched behind you, then switch legs. That helps me alot! Oh and if that does not help you may want a docter to check it out just to give you tips! Hope I helped!

CRAMP IS WHEN THE MUSCLE IN A PART OF YOUR BODY TIGHTENS-UP TO AN INCREADABLE PULL ON ALL THE AREAS TENDONS ECT,IT CAN BE BROUGHT ON BY LACK OF SALT,OVER EXERCISE,GROWING-UP EVEN..HELL I KNOW.
I used to get those really bad when I was prego. I had to stand up, straight legged with my toes pointing upward and my heels pushing down. It really helps.
