Soreness after bad leg cramps, need fairly quick results.?

Question:
After a pretty heavy workout today, I went to sit down in my chair, and I got the worst shooting pain I probably ever had in my life (forgive me, i'm a teenager and young). My left calf muscle tightened up and I winced over in pain for about 10 minutes straight. Right now i'm putting heat on it, I took a nap, a bath, relaxing and even stretching a little bit. I also ate a banana and a glass or so of milk, since I heard that was good to. Well the question is, is there anything else I can do for it before tomorrow comes? I have another hard workout again tomorrow and I need to be back to 100% (or as close to it as possible) I appreciate all the help.

Answers:
Leg cramps are normal for a hefty workout. If you didn't get the cramp until you sat down it means you didn't do enough "cool down" exercises like stretching or walking. Something easy and light at the end of your workout to help your pumped muscles calm down before they come to a complete hault. Thats why so many older people have heart attacks and strokes AFTER they do something like shovel snow or mow the lawn. They get their muscles and blood flowing and then come in and blop on the couch and your body doens't know how to react.
But if you are worried about tomorrow. Eat a couple of Bananas, they will go a long way.
Soak in Epsome Salt!! Its in the bath section of your grocery store, the longer you soak in it, the better you will feel!!
The best way to help a cramp in the leg calf is to stretch your leg straight out and point your toes toward your head as far as you can.

Banana's have potassium in them which is excellent for restoring the potassium level in your system, which was probably the reason you got the cramp to begin with.

Eat a banana before your workout tomorrow and one afterwards. This "should" help to prevent you leg from cramping up again. And your leg could have cramped because of the workout it's self, so be sure to do some stretches after your work out to help the muscles cool down.

Use ice on your calf too.
Message it. It will hurt, but it will help get rid of the lactic acid in your muscle (which is what makes it hurt). Also, what you got was a charley horse, muscle cramp in your calf (I get them in the middle of the night), the next time you get one, stretch out the muscle (flex your foot) , it will hurt worse at first, but will then instantly feel better when your muscle stops tensing up.
