Did I get a negative reaction from drinking too much coffee?

Question:
Last night I drank a large cup of coffee because I was planning on staying up to study, but not long after (2 hours later), I began to feel sick. I had this feeling that I got when I first drank alcohol basically. A feeling of unrest... eventually, I threw up every bit of coffee I drank. I am a usual consumer of coffee, but i've NEVER thrown up before. I wonder if this might be due to me drinking too much caffeine all at one time (after the coffee, I also brewed myself a cup of green tea). =/

Answers:
it's quite possible that the caffeine didn't set well with your system and that's why you threw it up.

if you're not used to drinking such a large amount at one time-then more than likely, your body was not adjusted to it.

i know that for me personally, if i drink large amounts of coffee (especially from starbucks or similar) i get sick as well.

the caffeine combined with maybe some added stress due to whatever you were studying for might have caused the stomach upset.

i would drink the caffeine in moderate amounts in the future

hope you feel better
Raine,

Are you able to drink coffee any other time
