Broken nail.. hurts!?

I was cooking last weekend and i cut my index nail close to the flesh i had to cut it very short and now t hurts badly. what can ido?

Neosporin and a Band-Aid.
Cut another one so you can dull the pain.
apply pressure, it will feel better.
