When i get cut i bleed a lot?

Question:
it's not that i'm emo, it's like when i accidentally get cut by something, even though its a small one, it bleed alot.. is soething wrong with me? like when i wash it off it keeps coming back. for example: glass cut me and when i went to wash it off, blood just kept coming for like ten minutes.

Answers:
If you cut more than a capillary the blood flow is more and harder to clot. If you bleed like this often try eating more food like cabbage and broccoli to increase your vitamin K levels. Vitamin K thickens your blood and helps clotting.
then put a bandage on it
Sounds like it could be thinning of your blood. Consult your doctor, you could have a blood disorder.

Don't freak out, it won't kill you.
You might have a blood clotting disorder. Go check with your doctor.
if you get cut immediately compress the wound.the problem is that your cloting mechanism is so slow.need to see a specialist about it
Some people just have slower clotting time than others, but there may also be dietary factors too. I was taking ginkgo biloba for improved memory and my finger tips tended to bleed easily. Garlic supplements can also do it, so I'm sure there are many reasons not indicative of poor health.

See a doctor, but don't get overly worried in the mean time ;-)
You might have hemophilia, a condition in which your blood doesn't clot properly and can lead to excessive bleeding. Get on Google and check it out.
