If your urine is an orange color, then you are dehydrated. You need to drink more fluids to keep this from happening. Alternating Motrin and Tylenol (generics are just as good) every 4 hours to keep the fever down is good and it will help with aches and pains. If the vomiting is preventing you from eating then you need to at least suck on ice chips and try to drink as much as possible. Stay away from milk products if your fever is high or if you have nasal discharge b/c they can make it thicker and harder to drain. Sucking on Popsicles are really good too (especially 100% fruit juice ones). Sprite is good in helping to settle your stomach as well as Saltine crackers. Of course, nothing is better than good ole chicken noodle soup. I hope someone will be able to help you.
go to the emergency room
thats really serious go to the emergency room
I know you don't want to hear go to a doctor but it sounds like you may have a serious infection and need antibiotics. In most larger cities there are free clinics or clinics that work on a pay scale depending on your income. If not you may need to ask family, friends, or church for help. Good luck and hope you feel better.
You need to get to the emergency room immediately. Whether or not you have insurance, they have to treat you.
you really need to seek some medical help if you have been sick this long!
If you have been that sick for that long, you need medical help, because your body is not winning at this point.
If this is something that has worked its way up to this level, and you've only actually had a fever and been vomiting for a day or two, there's a chance your body can heal itself without any help.
Take tylonal or advil (or better yet, take a dose of tylonal, then three hours later take advil, and continue to switch off every three hours-this is something my doctor recommended when I had west nile virus, and it kept the painkillers in my body at a constant level). Drink lots of water (the orange pee may just be from dehydration, but if it hurts to pee or is obviously bloody you probably have an infection and need antibiotics).
Get lots of rest and use ice packs to make yourself more comfortable.
It sounds like you have a bad case of the flu but that would be hard to diagnose without actually seeing you. I would say that between the nausea and vomiting, fever of 102 and 'orange urine' that you definitely have some issues with dehydration. If you don't feel comfortable going to a regular doctor then try to see someone at the nearest free clinic who might be able to help you pay your medical bills. Good luck.
You're peeing orange because your dehydrated. Drink lots of fluids, but do it gradually, you dont want it to keep coming back up. Chicken Soup, or chicken noodle is good when your sick. Also, get lots of rest.
If you have the flu, you can go to the Dr., but you might end up spending a fortune just to hear him confirm "Yes, you have the flu", and then he'll tell you to go home and get some rest.
Sounds like you should just use some common sense.
Good luck.
I know you don't want to hear "go to a doc", but at this point you might need an antibiotic. Your urine is orange? Well, I wonder if you are dehydrated because of all of the vomiting. Why don't you call the emergency room or the pharmacy and ask them for suggestions. I hope you feel better really soon.
