Does anyone know what could cause numbness in the hand/arm each morning?

Question:
Each morning I wake up, my right hand/arm is numb. It usually takes about 15 minutes for the numbness to go away. It is beginning to freak me out!!!

Answers:
There are several possibilities : carpal tunnel syndrome, sleeping on your arm, or neck problems. Make sure you sleep on your back that's the first and foremost thing you should do.

See your medical doctor and get an evaluation.
sounds like either cervical root problems or carpal tunnel. See your doctor, and he can schedule diagnostic test to determine the problem cause.
Don't get too freaked out until you know the cause.
It sounds like your sleeping on your hand/arm wrong.your just cutting off the curculation causing your hands to go numb.all I can say is perhaps you can try sleeping difference.if it doesn't help I would go and see a doctor, perhaps they can help you more if it keeps on happening...

Good Luck!!
Is one on your nerves beinch pinched by others, you need to see a Neurologist. Tingling will be one of the other symptoms. Believe it or not, this can come from one of the spine nerves...everything is connected. Get treatment soon.
