My mom just had surgery.There was a cyst growing on her ovary.They removed it and part of her ovary?

Question:

While recovering from that surgery,the surgeon came in and cut her stitches and left.In the meantime,the cut completely opened and her intestines were hanging out.She had to have an emergency surgery.Should she sue the hospital or at least not pay for the second surgery since it wasn't her fault??Any suggestions??

Answers:
A trained physician should certainly know if stitches are ready to be removed. If what you are saying is true you should at least consult an attorney and see what your options are so that this doesn't happen to someone else and you certainly should not pay or charge the insurance for that second surgery.

she shouldnt sue because the doctor was just cutting the stitches according to procedure.
however, she shouldnt have to pay for the second surgery and if they make her, that would be a good time to sue
