My ear hurts...I have no idea whats wrong? ITS THUMPING!?
Question:
THANKS!! MUCH Apppreciated!
Answers:
umm i had to problems similar to that! High blood pressure is why it throbs and u can hear the thumpin! And liquid drains in your ear and builds pressure! Ive had tubes 5 times! So you can try that but i still have problems with that and i have to go to the doctor to get pills to drain them at least 2 times a year! So try that! But if you dont have time for that sit and wait it will eventually heal! Ive done it before and its like 4 weeks but you cna also do this plug your nose and blow btu really gentally! I made the mistake of doin that to hard one time and i blew an eardrum!! Do softly till it pops as many times in the day as possible!! But not HARD! I repeat NOT HARD!! Do it softly and that will still help just not as fast but if it pops that good!
You need to see a doctor. There could be serious damage done to your inner ear. Instead of asking us questions, you should be at the doctor's office. He's the professional, we're not.
Sounds like a punctured ear drum - sorry but you really should go to the doc
You can go or call a local pharmacist and ask for an OTC medicine that might temporarily help, but then it might hurt your ear more than help it. But ask a pharmacist, they know what otc products might help.
The carotid artery runs very close you your ear, and sometimes people hear pulses of blood in the carotid artery. This conditions is called pulsatile tinnitus. There could be several reasons why this is happening, but only a couple causes can be treated with over-the-counter meds. The most common reason is fluid build-up in the middle ear, but in your case, it seems that it was caused by trauma. Its possible that your ear is blocked by wax or by swelling. Probably not much you can do about swelling, but a decongestant such as the original sudafed might help. You could also try an ear wax remover kit. If these things don't work, you might have a more serious injury and you will need to see a doctor.
