Health advice?

Question:
Hi, before I go into the symptoms, I'll inform you that its kind of hard for me to explain the way I feel. For the past week (maybe a little longer) I've had this weird feeling in my head. It sord of feels like a dull headache (in the back or top of the head) with a mixture of slight dizziness - almost like my head is clogged or something. When I stand up (no matter how slow) I get really dizzy - this seems to happen more and more often. At one point I became so dizzy I almost fell over...the room was spinning. I've been having left chest pains for the past 3 or 4 years, I went to the doctor for this and my EKG came back abnormal. I was told to see a cardiologist but don't have insurance so I can't afford to. I'm also experiencing fatigue, I think. I'm not quite sure if thats what it would be classified as, but the feeling is like I'm sort of weak. I sleep during the day a lot more than I use to. Advice? Im 19, in college & can't really afford to see a doctor, but really want to.

Answers:
Hey buddy, dizziness, chest pains, palpitations, fatigue and exhaustion, headaches and migraines, nausea and vomiting, insomnia, constipation, sweating, prickling and tingling sensations in the outer extremities ...... all really quite scary symptoms if you don't know that you could simply have a vitamin B12 deficiency. B12 is part of the B complex group of vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12) either go get a multi B supplement containing all the B vitamins (they work best as a group) or eat more foods rich in this vitamin.

Organ meats such as lambs fry and kidney, milk, cheese, eggs and fish ..... or do both!!

If you are a vegetarian then supplementation for you is a must ..... 19 sounds a bit young to be having heart problems so at an educated guess I'd say you're just really stressed with extra responsibilities such as studying and that's precisely when you need to up your intake of these vitamins. The B group of vitamins are a water soluble group and as such your body cannot produce them, therefore you need to either eat them or supplement your diet with them on a daily basis. If you don't then you'll suffer a litany of side affects, as you've discovered!!

CHEERS & GOOD LUCK
You just described the symptoms of dehydration.. look it up for yourself and see if the symptoms described on a medical site on google or yahoo are the same as yours.. lethargy, headache, chest pains, light headedness and the like are all listed.. look it up and do what it suggest to rehydrate yourself.. by the way.. you can get medical attention at the county health department at no charge.. or at an emergency room at the local county hospital or any others.. you may have to wait for a little while.. but the health service is there for you and your tax dollars provide this for you..so don't be afraid to use it.. GO.
