Will Clean & Clear work as good as Noxzema in taking the redness from my sunburn??

Question:
I went to Texas Heat Wave yesterday and am now BURNT!! I've read all the questions and answers on here and came across the one where you could use Noxzema and it would help alot. I was wondering if you could use Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser as a replacement for Noxzema?? I mean it smells the same and also works the same too me. All I want to do is take the redness out of the burn, there is NO pain at all. If someone could get back to me ASAP I would really appreciate this.

Answers:
OMG, you should never use noxema! Noxema is oil based so it hold the heat in which will prolong healing and can even intensify the burn! Clean and clear has a drying component to it which will dry out your skin and not benefit your sunburn. If you want to try something you probably have at home, use cool, moist tea bags.

Otherwise, here are som home treatment suggestions:
cool showers or baths
avoid creams or lotions that can hold heat inside (oil based)
drink lots of fluids
motrin or tylenol for pain
cool wet tea bags applied to the burn may also help
see doctor if you have blistering
stay out of the sun
if you must go out, keep sunburned areas covered
you can use OTC preps designed specifically for sunburn (to numb the pain and remove redness such as Solarcaine or aloe gel)
