I have a medical question, that I need a answer to.?

Question:
Can someone tell me maybe what wrong. I have extreme pain down the sides of both my legs, from the top down the side of my thighs. And I hurt also in my hips, and I have alot of trouble walking and it even hurts too walk. I do have a hernitated disk and need back surgery. But do you think all of these problems are from that? I feel like I could have arthritus in my hips or something else is wrong. I also know that I have siactic problems, but would it cause all of this pain, and trouble walking?

Answers:
Sciata can cause all those symptoms. I had horrible sciata pain when I was pregnant and actually had to use a wheel chair to get around. My husband used to have to hold me up so I could urinate on the toilet. I couldn't sit or stand without pain. I bought a big exercise ball to sit on and the pain went away when I was sitting on it. All your other health problems could be causing this as well, but it's more than likely your sciatica. It's PAINFUL! One thing I tried after pregnancy was to get a tennis ball and put it right on my hip and lay on it. It added just enough pressure to relieve the pain. I would have about 4 pain-free hours from this. You could try it, but ask your doctor if it would be okay first.
NOTHING LAST FOREVER
Yes, spinal problems cause problems all over the body. You need to have it checked out, though. It sounds like a major nerve may be being pinched.
your sciatic nerve is inflamed.you should really consider the back surgery or alternative treatments for it... mine also hurts the same...nothing but painkillers help me at this point.
