it happened to me to. My first peircing only hurt for a day or so. a couple of yrs later i got my second peircing done. And, it hurt for a long time. You might be sentitive i spelt that wrong. But, any way that is what they told me and i said it can't be cause my first peircing i can wear any earings cheap or real gold. you know. And, my second peircing i was alergic to the earing that is why it hurt so bad. So, now I have to wear real gold in the second hole and any type earing in the first hole. So, I hope this helps.
just put rubbling acohol on your ears to that would help from getting infected.
maybe it's infected
go back to the person who pierced your ears and tell them about your ear pain. and or go to a dr and ask them.
Are you cleaning it properly? It may be infected. And it is actually worse to clean it TOO much too, FYI>
It hurts everyone different, you are fine just wait till you get the top of your ear pierced that hurts for weeks. Everyone is different as long as it isn't really oozing then you are fine.
hey yea i got my second like 2 months ago...i think cuz its farther up on the cartilage that it hurts more and maybe the earrings they put in you are allergic too mine stopped hurting afer a month
The first piercings didn't hurt as badly because they went through a part of your earlobe with few nerves. The second hurt more and will hurt longer because there are more nerves as you go 'up' the ear from the lobe. Try putting ice on them for a few minutes every hour, and be sure you 'wash them well' with isopropyl alcohol at least three times a day. The isopropyl will help them heal faster and not get infected ... but your ears may hurt for another week or even three ... if they don't 'hurt less' as time goes by, though TAKE THE EARRINGS OUT and let them heal up ... you could have gotten the piercing 'too close' to nerves, and they'll NEVER stop hurting until they start to 'heal completely' ... wait at least three months, then try getting a new 'second piercing' done by a person who really 'knows' what they're doing.
If it was in the cartilage, the cartilage takes a lot longer to heal and sometimes doesn't truly heal at all. Use peroxide to clean around the piercing and maybe some witch hazel (drug stores/dollar stores) if it has yellow pus, or is swelling go see a doctor, it may be badly infected and need to be drained.
