I cant tell if I have a sprained ankle? Please Help?

It sounds like it's just a sprain. I would suggest RICE (Rest, ice, compression, and elevation), and take some ibuprofen. Give it a week or so to start healing, and if it does not feel any better then go see a doctor. Go ahead and keep wrapping it that will be good, and give it a few weeks to heal, and get strong again, and it should be OK! I hope you were wearing a helmet, and if not I guess this is a warning to start wearing one so you don't end up being flown to the hospital with a brain injury!
I would get it checked out--it could be a bad sprain--torn ligaments--a fracture--numerous other problems caused by something slight. I went 2 weeks with a fractured foot one time--I walked down a sloped yard, an object clipped my foot the right way and I broke my leg--get it checked out.
If it is swelling and is bruised it probably is sprained...but be sure your ankle isn't broken. The bone could be cracked and you could still walk on it ...but it would be painful. You need to go to the doctor and get an exray.
I thought that I sprained my foot playing tennis and I acctually broke it! If it is swelling I think that you broke it! Keep ice on it! Try to soak your foot in hot water that has epsom salt dissolved in it. Also keep ice on it for at least 12 hours. Go to a foot doctor, explain what happenbed and he will take ex-rays and tell you whats wrong. Just because you can walk on your foot does not mean that it is not broken. I walked and played tennis on a broked foot for three weeks before my mom took me to the doctor. It hurt like hell. Good luck!
