I am an LPN and I can certainly relate to your problem. First, please don't stick anymore Cu-tips in your ear. When you did this though-there was probably wax there and you moved some of it when you did this. I know the pain can be so bad, but go to your Family Phys. and have them checked. You probably have a normal build up of wax. It just needs to be properly removed. It's moving around right now in the ear canal and that's why you could hear all of a sudden. We have a pool and a normal routine for us is always peroxide and regular Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. Alcohol tends to keep the water dried up in the Ear Canal. After you have had the wax properly removed you will find it will be easy maintenance after that. You will hear a world of wonderful and New things and all your pain will subside.Good Luck-You may feel a little dizzy at the time of cleaning but Oh the Rewards afterward will be Great! Good Health to You and Remember NO MORE Cu-Tips Please. To make the cleaning easier you can use Oil reccommend by the drug store. Well worth it all.Hope you feel better real Soon! That's a terrible place to hurt.
Dude! Go to the DOCTOR! Wow... are you waiting for your ear to fall off or something? You have to take care of yourself!
see a doctor maybe but before u do that lay on ur bed on the side where ur clogged ear would be touching the bed and shake ur head a little.
I have no clue, but if it gets any worse, i suggest going to a doctor.
Sounds like an inner ear infection. I went off a high dive once and got the EXACT same problem. Right down to putting something in my ear and I could hear perfectly fine. Get yourself to a doctor and tell him or her all the details you outlined here. They will take a look and give you something to clear it up
Probably an ear infection. When water gets trapped in there it can cause an infection. Try putting the Swim Ear in and laying on the side that doesn't hurt for a while to give it a chance to get in there and dry up the water. If that doesn't work, go see your doctor and wear earplugs next time.
Your problem is probably due to an earwax build-up. Try laying on your side and pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide into the ear. The peroxide will bubble away the build-up and clear-up the problem. I usually give myself this "ear-treatment" everytime I anticipate that I will be swimming.
Better see a doctor and next time please wear a pair of ear plugs before you actually swim to prevent water getting into the ears.
Wax build up. I use " Cerumol" drops.
