How does a blind woman and a deaf men communicate (Married)?

That's tough. Have you looked into a cochlear implant? Its not like real sound, but they are less robotic than they once were. You would "hear" through an electrode wire basically. It leaves out a lot of tones, so it doesn't sound exactly normal. Insurance covers them sometimes.
Hope you find something. You could also use a Braille writer, or learn to sign in each other's hands.
Contact an audiologist or ear nose and throat specialist if you want to look in to a cochlear implant. If your cochlea (part of the hearing system) is hardening (this happens with some diseases), you don't have much time because the implant would be hard to insert, so act quickly if this might be the case.
well maybe like helen keller, the sign language on the hand or whatever, im sure u guys can figure something out
use your handicapped children to communicate
Learn to speak and interpret American Sign Language with your hands ... I've known several couples like you, and they all communicated faster and more clearly using the 'touching ASL' than people who 'speak normally' ... but one spoke to people who couldn't 'read' the ASL.
you could talk to her, and she could sign to you...right? take a sign language course with her.
whith help !
I remember hearing the Helen Keller story and I believe she was taught deaf sign by her teaching signing into her hand. So instead of holding up your hand and showing the sign, you'd do it into the person's palm. This may work for you and your wife: she could sign by holding up her hand and you could sign into the palm of her hand.
You could also learn to read lips. She'd be able to speak to you.
I know some hearing issues can be treated by hearing aids. Nearly 20 years ago, I had a classmate who was born deaf, but was helped by hearing aids to the point she could communicate verbally and hear what she was saying somewhat. You may be able to still communicate verbally to your wife with the help of hearing aids.
Just some ideas. Best wishes to you and your wife!
I really don't know. I suppose you could work out a set of codes, like, if she wants to ask you something, she could write it down for you, or speak it (if you get one of those fancy type-as-you-speak devices)
She can hear your response, and write/type again. But you really ought to work something out before it's too late.
there actually is a true story of a girl names hellen that got sick as a baby and became deaf and blind. She was taught fingerspelling into peoples hands to communicate. If u want to check out the movie to learn more It was called "The Miracle Worker" Hope this helps and good luck to you.
