Neck/spine hurts from reading while lying on my back?

Question:
When I read, I like to lay down on my bed with pillows supporting my head. However, I find that after a while my neck and spine begin to hurt. Is there anything that can be done to avoid this? I don't get this when I lay down and watch TV or any other activities involving me resting my head on the pillow while I lay on my back.

Answers:
You may want to get a pillow wedge and then put a few pillows under your legs, and get a NECK pillow to support.
