Back Pain !?

Answers:
I think what you need to do is evaluate what is going on.
Ask these questions;
Did the back hurt - before the new bed. ?
>>>> Sometimes getting something that is good for you hurts !! Just think of it as breaking in a new pair of shoes ya gotta get the shoe broken in and stretched a little all settled until they feel comfortable. (HAVE SOME FUN-LOL JK)
iF YOUR BACK HURT BEFORE THE NEW BED- try and think of what you may have been doing, working in the Garden, extra home duties, cleaning to help bring in the bed.
I just bet though it is the bed, I bought a new sofa for my mom and fell asleep on it and couldnt move for a week- LOL I have a very bad back anyway, but geez this was worse then sleeping on a hardwood floor. If your other bed was softer you may want to consider purchasing an egg crate mattress - like they put on hospital beds. although instead of spending the $ on that - because You will get used to that bed Take and get a bed spread and fold it in 1/2 and lay on top of it and put a couple of pillows behind your back, dont lie flat, and if you are lying on your side- make sure you put a pillow between your knees. Better yet- a long bodypillow would be perfect.
In the morning when you get up, try a heating pad. do some LIGHt stretching. if it is painful try some tylenol
Nice hot shower or bath ...etc.
If after 'coddling" you still feel miserable and it was determined that maybe you "twisted -I would go to the dr if tylenol isnt helping.
So do this;
1. make a list of all of the activities you have done
Yes it's the mattress, my husband and I bought a new mattress and spent lots of money it it was awful, we are now using air mattress in our king size bed and we have no back problems.
it may be a coincidence, or the new bed. If I were you I would have her see a doctor to make sure there isn't any problems with her back, kidneys etc. The mattress may be too hard or too soft etc., or she could have disc problems, or just pulled muscles in her back. I would rather be safe than sorry. I have had 3 back surgeries and wish them upon nobody. Good luck
