Question about knee pain?

Question:
I usually run 3 to 4 times / week and only recently I've started to develop a slight pain in my left knee. It's not painful painful, but it's like a dull pain.. Does anyone have any ideas what I can use? Over the counter? Icy Hot? Ben gay?

Answers:
That could be ligament pain, use stretches with your other ideas listed.Put your foot up on that is parallel to the ground.Lean in a little until you feel a good stretch,do that until you think it is enough.
Next, stretch the opposite way.Get on your knees & sit on your feet.Make sure that your feet are flat on the floor,do not sit on your toes.
Lean back a little,it will stretch things that you did not know were there.
Finally, you may need to wrap your knee when you run.It will help to stabilize it.
Don't forget about the old standby of ice.Use a gallon storage bag to make a good ice pack.Put it where the pain is,it can work wonders at times.
Ice it 15 minutes on 15 minutes off 3-4 times a day for 2-3 days. Ibuprofin every 4-6 hours for the next 3 days. Don't run for a couple days. Give your knee a break.

Over the counter best for me is Tiger Balm after a shower...
OMG me too...I went to a fiscal therapist just to find out why its happening and she gave me some exercises see if you can find some of them on like google images or something here are the names of them: clam shell, beauty queen stretch, hip and knee. hope i helped<333
