Hydrogen peroxide as mouth wash?

and my doctor told me to get some hydrogen peroxide,
the first time i got it. it was from the pharmacy. and that hydrogen peroxide sayd "oral wash" on it. so i guess you can say it was for mouthwash as well. but i ran out so i went to get some more but the usp is 3% and still the same and everything but the new bottle of hydrogen peroxide does say "oral healthy wash" or whatever on it
can i still use it?
i need the infection to go away,

Don't use the peroxide if it doesn't say 'oral wash'. Salty luke warm water also cures tonsilitis. You need to mouthwash frequently to remove buildup of infecting bacteria.

Yes, you can use hydrogen peroxide as "mouthwash." I use it whenever I get a sore throat, even if it doesn't say "oral wash" on the label.
I've used the regular peroxide as a mouth rinse and gargle before---I don't use it full strength though---use equal amounts of water to peroxide (ex. 2 capfuls of peroxide with 2 capfuls of water) or however much you want to use and also after I've gargled or rinsed with above solution I rinse my mouth out with plain water..Do not swallow the peroxide!
There are two kinds of peroxide.
There is peroxide for medical purpose.
The is a peroxide that you mix with hair dye.
By all means don't use the peroxide for hair dye.
You can purchase both in most pharmacy's.
Be sure to talk to you pharmacy.
I'm kinda thinking that it is archaic to use as a mouthwash.
Tell the pharmacist what your Dr. told you and find out if there is something better to use.

yes if u look it up its also a whitener for teeth, But Listeren has bacteria fighting & tastes better dont swallow either
Yes, only thing I will mention is that you don't want to use it all the time. Once a week with peroxide is sufficent.
Over use can cause more problems. That's only the real problem with peroxide.
yeah, but it really sucks (nasty as hell) listerine is basiccally the same.
