My biceps hurt really bad from throwing. After practice, i can't hold my arm out for 10 sec. What should i do?

Question:
I think i am overthrowing or overstretching or (and) throwing the wrong way. After practice sometimes, I will try to hold my drink but I can't because my hand will shake. What should I do to make it better?

Answers:
Let it rest, what else can you do.
relax for a while don't play so hard cause it'll just keep hurting
you have latic acid build up.drink water [threw a straw if you have to] and rest...in 2 days your arm should feel better...if not, it is time for a dr visit.hope u feel better soon !
First of all, rest. You may need to start performing a good flexibility program...I doubt you are overstretching. Next, check out this website for some GOOD fundamentals for your strengthening program. This was developed by the head PT for Dr. Andrews at Birmingham (the guy who operates on a lot of pro athletes). Hope this helps you out!

drink lots of fluids to increase blood volume and hence blood flow to your biceps and remove lactic acid quickly

massage helps reduce muscle tension

apply ice packs for the swelling.

you may take analgesics if persistent

if persistent see your physician
