Have you tried Sports massage to relieve the pain? But I'm not sure you can recover in 5 days.
first of all, a "pulled muscle" is a serious injury. it is very different from a strained muscle. if you strained it, stay off it and in five days you will be more than fine. if you "pulled" it, you will have a bruise around the area, and you are, at that point, truly injured and five days will not cure it. A "pulled" muscle is a TORN muscle and it will heal, but not in five days. Check for bruising. Don't massage it. Take aspirin to keep the inflamation down. I am not a fan of Advil, but you choose. Then just suck it up. Athletes get hurt. Good luck.
