Question:
Part of my skin peeled on my hand after I fell and my hand scraped against a corner of a wooden door. It didn't bleed. For a couple days it was red and kind of swollen and now it's darker than my skin color and it almost feels kind of scaly?! It almost looks like a birthmark. here is a picture:

Try using skin cream to soften the skin. Cream is better than lotion . Lotion can actually dry skin because of the alcohol they put in it.
It may be bruised.
