Nowhere near enough to hazard even a guess, however if it is very low down, recent and sudden onset and painful, it might be a pilonidal abscess? Keep at her, of course she should go see her GP!
You must absolutely force her to go to the doctor. It could be a spinal problem, or even a tumor.
frogmarch her to the docs!!!
It could very well be a growing tumor and cancer. An old boyfriend's mother had the same thing years ago. It's very serious. She should go to a doctor. A tumor in the spine can take over the nerves and she can possibly not be able to control her hand movements or leg movements as it gets worse.
well if she wont go to the doctors and it serious then it could just get worse and it will be a death sentence of her own doing. On the other hand its probably nothing. Ask yourself - how big is it, has it gotten bigger, can it move around or is it static and is it sore to touch ?
And tell her to go to the BLOODY DOCTOR lol.
Good Luck. xx
Best to get it checked by doctor but it may be an abcess or cyst probably nothing serious I hope
My god the lot on here are a right cheerful bunch eh?!! It would be utterly impossible to even guess at a diagnosis without much much more information, like other symptoms, level and nature of pain, sisters age, family history etc.
Really anything that is causing pain, no matter how minor, should go to the doc. Put it your your sis this way, what's the point of suffering when there is most likely something that can be done to take the pain away? If she utterly refuses to see a doc then perhaps she would go to the chemist and have a chat with a pharmacist?
If she's young (ish) and otherwise healthy I would reckon its most likely a cyst (pus filled pouch under the skin).
it's always worth getting these things checked out
