Is it safe to drink the water that drains from an air conditioner/dehumidifier?

Question:

Answers:
not to sure
Why would you want to?
No, absolutely not. Don't even drink water out of your hose outside because the sun/heat causes it to produce lead and it isn't safe for your body.
I think it may be draining the impurities not sure though. probably should just stick to the regular stuff..
I doubt it ... the tubing/lines the water is coming out of are probably not clean or sanitary since the AC is not made for that purpose.
i believe it wouldn't be any different than distilled water. maybe a few more impurities in this stuff, so i would be careful drinking it. but other than the impurities in it i'd say u can drink it.
absolutely not. If you are short on water you can always go to local charities and they could help you out. The water would have ran through the AC touching all the parts. so-----NO

take care
