Pain in my knee, cannot extend or contract fully?
Question:
I had an ache at the beginning of the week, that seemed to go away when i lightly exercised. Last night i play a couple of hours of basketball, and went home.
When i woke up this morning i was in alot of pain in my knee, and cannot extend or contract it fully.
The strange thingis, when i walk on it after about 10 minutes the pain eases... When i rest, and walk again it really hurts again..
Please can anyone advise?

To me it sounds like you've got fluid on your knee it also sounds like you have Arthritis. Please go see your doctor.
I would go to the doctor just to be safe.
you have fluid on ur knee go to the doc and get it drained
Well, it sounds like a stressed tendon in the knee.
I had plantar fasciitis, which is when the tendon that runs through the arch of the foot is strained or injured. It would hurt so bad in the morning when I woke up, or when I got up after sitting for a while. But after I walked on it for a while, it would feel better.
The reason is that the tendon is trying to heal itself in the relaxed position... then you re-tear all that healed stuff when you put weight on it again.
The pattern of the pain in your knee sounds similar... so I would suspect tendon stress or injury.
The plantar fasciitis is a repetitive stress injury caused by running... so the pain in your knee is likely the same kind of injury - as opposed to an acute injury, which I am sure you would have noticed.
You should talk to your doctor. In the meantime, ice it, stretch it, take an anti-inflammatory (like Aleve or any other kind of over the counter naproxen) and reduce any high impact activity (like basketball and running).
It's sound's like gout it can be caused by an undetected knee injury or from something else you should see a doctor in the mean time wrap an ace bandage around it and as often as you can ice it.
I HAVE SOME TIPS FOR U TO CONTROL THE PAIN AND NOT HAVE MORE . DONT WALK TOO FAST AND ALSO DONT RUN. RUNNING IS REALLY BAD. GO TO THE DOCTOR BEFORE ANY THING BAD HAPPEN. OH ALSO DONT SLEEP IN THE AIR CONDITIONED ROOM.
