Stretching is the most useful method of preventing pain, and sometimes relieving it as well.
Chiropractors suck anyway. They want you to go see them every week for the rest of your life. When my lower back problem started I went to a chiropractor for several months. The problem just got worse and worse. I reached a point where I was in constant severe pain. I couldn't find relief laying down, sitting down or standing up. It was horrible!
Finally I went to a regular medical doctor. He gave me some samples of a pill he had there at the office. I took two that day and the next morning I woke up and the pain was completely gone!!! It was like a miracle!
Pay the co-pay for an office visit and tell the doctor you want DayPro. Technically you want the generic that is the same thing. It's not a pain killer, it actually solves the problem that is causing the pain. I won't take pain killers for back pain because I believe that the pain actually prevents you from injuring your back more. My husband and I have been using DayPro ever since that office visit, some 23-24 years now and it's worked wonders for us.
try a heat pad
i have the same problem. i pop my back about three times a day. try to do some back exercises to strengthen the back muscles. (backward crunches). Get on a good multivitamin as well.
