I keep being told that's a sign of healing. I got stitches for a 2" x 1/2" gash in my ankle caused during a motorcycle accident. 9 stitches later they were removed last week I still have the orange yellow leakage. Sometimes mine even has blood in it. The best thing I cant advise you to do is see a doc about possibly doind more to it and stay off the foot. I was told to stay on crutches for 4 weeks after the accident by a podiatrist (foot doc). If your injury is only to your foot area and no bones were involved see one of these docs they are trained for this sort of thing.
ew go to a doctor, it sounds like it getting infected, plus you needed or still need stiches
If you injured yourself one month ago and the wound isn't healing, its long since time to see a doctor. You could have a really serious infection. Sometimes a big cut needs to be sewn shut in order to heal. I believe the orange yellowish color you reported is a sign of infection. See the doctor.
Sometimes wounds like that will leak for awhile. The fact that it is not red or swollen or hot to the touch is a good sign. However if I were you I would still have a doctor take a look at it to be sure. And this is why...I am in physical therapy for a bad knee and there is an older woman that goes there with me. She apparently fell and injured her leg, but never went to the doctor. The short story is she got a really horrible infection and, honest to God, her leg essentially just "exploaded". The infection and swelling was so bad that her skin just ruptured. She now has an open wound that needs to be cleaned and packed with gauze everyday. The surgeon cannot close the wound because the infection is still there. So after I heard that story and saw that woman I vowed that I will get all cuts checked out if they start to look questionable. At least call your doctor and describe your wound to him/her and see what they think. Good luck.
def. see a doc.
