Question:
This is a common runner injury and I've rested it, stretched it, taken time off and it's bugged me now for almost a year and I'm to the point now where I just exercise through it and stretch it real good. I'm wondering if I'm just being an idiot and this may be something if I see the right Doc, I can just fix it with orthotics or something. I just have no idea where to go...any ideas?

Have you tried a good sports massage therapists? They can fix your ITB very easily. It is a matter of stretching and releasing the tension in the band.
i know...i know...you probably know what i'm going to suggest, but physical therapists are the best when it comes to stuff like this oh, and they can get you the help, or orthotics that you need! good luck. by the way, you may need to see your doc to get a referral to physical therapy!
