Is there a certain peak dosage of hydrocodone as far as the good buzz feeling?

Question:
Like, Is there a certain amount to where no matter how much more u take the buzz warm fuzzy feeling won't be any more intense, because I have a very high tolerance, If i take 15mg I feel that warm fuzzy feeling and I feel it a little stronger with maybe 25mg 5 (5/500mg vics) but it seems like no mater how much more i take it doesn't feel any more intense is that just the way hydrocodone works or do u need to take a whole lot to feel that kind of Oxy Buzz? Is it just that hydrocodone is week and makes no difference wether u take 4 or 8?

Answers:
Although I do not condone using hydrocodone to get high. I will answer your question as you asked it. You are already aware of possible liver damage from a high dose of tylenol. If you still choose to take it to get high that is your choice altoghether. Anyway enough of the warnings. I would not take more than 6 of the 5/500 at one time for two reasons.

1st reason: Anymore than 30mg of hydrocodone at one time can be life threatining. If 25mg does it for you stick with that amount the extra 5mg will not make much of a difference. Keep in mind however that if you do this often soon the 25mg will have no effect as your body will get used to that dose.

2nd reason: The tylenol you are ingesting is 2500mg at one time. The recommended dose of tylenol is 1000mg every 4-6 Hours and that is for short term use of 10 days or less.
You have built up a high tolerance to hydro. The longer and the higher doses you take of it...the more and more you will need to get that buzzed feeling! Taking that many Vicodin's can cause damage since they do have (most of them) 500 mg of Tylenol..which is very damaging to your liver. If you ease up on them, then it will not take as many to obtain the effect you are looking for. Remember that they are very addicting..and nothing to mess around with!
While I understand your curiosity about the drug, its strengths and what it takes the get that "buzzy feeling", you are also screaming from the roof tops that you might have a substance abuse problem.
Hydrocodone 5/500 is a combination of Tylenol and hydrocodone (commonly called Vicodin). If taken in high doses (which can happen chasing that "buzzy feeling"), you can cause significant damage to your liver not to mention the price of addiction.

You don't want to go there. Any opiate or its derivative is highly addicting and lends itself into a myriad of problems. Not only do you run the risk of legal trouble (unless you have a prescription), there's the hassle of going out and locating the pills illegally to avoid the withdrawal symptoms. Then, should you decide to detoxify, it is an ugly experience. I wish I never got on that merry go round!

If you really want more information on this subject, a great reference would be the Physician's Desk Reference. It explains everything from chemical compounds, indications, contraindications, overdosing, clinical studies and more.

One more thing, Oxycontin is NOTHING TO PLAY WITH. Find something else that will give you that rush, say sky diving, white water rafting. etc.
Your body does build up a tolerance with hydro and u should be concerned about the pain and not the "buzz warm Fuzzy" feeling????? Sounds to me like u just wanna get high???? Watch out!! Could have a monkey on your back!
