What does it mean when a persons body twitches?

Question:
like a leg or a finger?

Answers:
Could be a deficiency of magnesium.
You're tired or dehydrated.
A ghost has pinched you
muscle spasm, nothin big
It could be anything from a calcium deficiency to a muscle spasm. If it becomes bothersome, they should consult a doctor.
If you are in bed, trying to fall asleep, it may be muscle relaxation from what I've heard, I can't say if its true or not.
muscles can twitch if a nerve has been trapped, or when you are falling asleep as the muscles start to relax it is common for them to twitch.

Twitching can also be a sign of parkinsons disease aswell
these are early signs of a disorder called "toretts syndrome" it's when the body does involuntary movements, or sometimes involuntary blurts come of of the person's mouth like curse words, or name calling. The severety varies from simple body gerks, to complete out of control blurting, shaking, etc. I'm not saying this is the ONLY possibility, but it is one.
See your doctor. Just that ALS a neurologic disorder has a symptom like that. Just to make sure ok. God bless.
