Help!!..Im about 16 weeks in my first pregnancy and i have awful lower abdominal pain..Why is this?

well,
first of all,

you are PREGNANT.

you have a baby inside of you, so naturally you are going to feel some pain in your stomach.
besides the fact that the baby could be moving around or kicking, it is also growing and therefore your stomach is expanding and your skin is stretching.

being pregnant is not supposed to be a pleasant feeling.
