Sharp pains in my finger??


Question:
A few weeks ago, I cut my finger pretty badly on my index finger, very close to the 2nd joint. I did not go to the hospital, I just used butterfly bandages and it seemed to heal up okay. However, though the cut healed up, it hurts A LOT on the inside. Whenever I bang my finger against something, there is a sharp pain that goes up and down my finger.

Is this something I should worry about or will it go away?
