Question about Canada's "healthcare"?

Question:
Why do I keep hearing about how the US should have healthcare like Canada? What is up with Canada's healthcare system and why is it better than ours?

Answers:
All citizens get health care coverage in Canada. The Canadian national health insurance system is single-payer, which means that the government (not the individual or "middleman" insurance company) pays the doctors and hospitals for their services - sort of like "Medicare for all."

People can afford it. US health care per capita is three times that of Canada.
