Do you think if a jumped of a chair and landed on 1 foot i would break my ankle??
Question:
i'm not going to try it or anything(i think lol only kidding) i'm just curious..
Answers:
Hi,
LOL! funny question!
You'd probably buckle and fall straight over. Ankle bones are not that weak!
Depends how you land!
BEND YOUR KNEES! (or knee in this case!) Lol!
GET A LIFE MATE.
It depends on how you land, how much you weight etc. One person can just stand up and break their ankle and others can twist their ankle on a rock and not do anything to it so there's a lot of factors that play into it.
It really really depends on the way in which you land, the height of the chair and the way in which you move your body to almost "absorb" the impact. If done as the average person would on the average chair, then nothing would happen.
most likley your ankles can only take so much bones are really wierd so they break like anything .
It depends on your bone density, previous injuries to that area, and your muscle strength.
Some people would be able to do that and not have any problem. Then again others might sustain a sprain, torn ligaments, torn muscles, or a broken bone.
Keep in mind, it also doesn't just involve your ankle. It involves your knee, your hip, and even your spine. Could possibly create small hairline fractures without even realizing it.
I'm interested as well, go on try it anyway and let everyone know how you got on from casualty.
depends on how you land and if there is a weakness in your ankle
Depends. If the chair is in the middle of the floor, and you don't try to tilt over sideways or anything else daft, you'll be fine. If, however you place the chair at the top of the stairs, there's a good chance you'll get to take a nice ambulance ride!
DEE-DAA-DEE-DAA
:-)
most likely as your bodyweight would land more on the leg you land on
As long as you take the noose off your neck beforehand, you should be fine.
.sounds like a bad bet to me
well certainly if you land the right way it won't do anything, but if you land with it bended to the side you'll probably twist it a little.
why do you want to brake your ankle?
I strongly doubt you would break it, unless of course you are hugely overweight or you land funny.
I guess from the question you are pretty young, so therefore bone density is likely to be good.
If you are trying to break something try a higher height like off of a 2 storey building, much more likely to break something, although more likely to be calcaneum or acetabulum.
Good luck (lol)
possibly. when i jumped off a coal bunker when i was 10 i landed on both feet and my tibia broke. depends how far u jump and how u land.
I'm sure if you worked at it long enough that you could break SOMETHING.
