Can anybody tell me why the tip of my tongue turns white and goes numb sometimes.?

Question:
Mostly in cold weather.

Answers:
It seems that you have tongue claudication, the blood supply to the tip of your tongue is impaired when you drink cold thing.
This is caused by spasm of the blood vessels when cold

I strongly suggest you see your family doctor to find out the underlying cause
Chinese doctors will assess your current health status by looking at your tongue and while I don't know the answer to your question, my thoughts are that perhaps it is a reflection on your body at that time (cold, fighting flu etc).
You dont usually get that but only when you eat a fried chip from the pan.
