I stubbed a toe yesterday and it's very purple and i want to be able to skate soon plz help?

Question:
I was walking and i hit the toe right next to the pinkie toe on a stove. I can bend it but towards my foot it's slightly hard.
What can i do to be able to skate by Monday?

Answers:
The purple color is blood under the skin...AKA bruising. If you can't go to the Dr.--try soaking it in epson salts and apply ice packs. Also, try to avoid walking on that foot for a few days and watch where you're walking in the future! LOL

You should really go to your doctor to see if it's ok. It may be minor but it's better to play it safe especially with it turning colors.
It sounds like it's bruised. I would suggest elevating it, taking ibuprofen, and using ice on it. You can also try taping the toe a toe next to it to give it some support. Just give it some time to heal, and hopefully you will be able to skate by Monday, but listen to your body and make sure that you aren't putting yourself through too much pain in order to skate.
