What is the quickest cure for osteochondritis dissecans?

Answers:
Have you tried a Yahoo search for "osteochondritis dissecans" + "natural cures"?
unfortunately there is no quick cure for OD or really any "cure" at all. depending on various conditions, you will be offered a non-surgical or surgical remedy but arthritis in the joint affected could be an end result. if opting for a non-surgical treatment i would suggest physical therapy to be the best option. Physical therapist would work at helping you maintain full range of motion and function in your affected area and help with the pain and swelling, etc. Physical therapists are the specialists when it comes the systems relating to muscles, bones, joints, nerves, etc. and therefore could be considered movement specialists. if you're in physical therapy good for you!! if not, talk with your doc about an appointment. This isn't a shameful plug for physical therapy i'm only a student and have nothing personally to gain from you going. i have a lot of confidence in the clinicians in this field and i know PT would be the best choice, may not be the quickest, but in the long term, you may have the best outcome! hope this helps and good luck.
