A *daily* nosebleed is not something to just to laugh off... especially if it's a "severe" nosebleed. It might just be associated with the humidity (it's too dry in your house) - but I'd contact a doctor and have him examined.

It seems to have a lot to do with the humidity. You could use a moisturizing gel you can get over the counter, or get a humidifier inside of the house, or for the bedroom. Drink a lot of water as well. If it consist, I would go see a doctor.
Recurring nosebleeds aren't good - if its not a serious health issue a doctor can cauterize the nose tissue to prevent future bleeding.
check his blood pressure and have him use saline nasal spray...

A nose bleed can be as simple as dry air being the cause or as complicated as being a sign of cancer. The only real way of knowing the extent of the situation, as with any medical question, is a physical examination in conglameration with a family and patient history. The doctor may decide to have some blood drawn. This can show if he has normal levels of the differing blood cells. Unfortunately, there is no simple yes or no to this question. I do strongly advise him to obtain a physical exam.
Perhaps he has weak blood vessels. High blood pressure or sinus problems could be another cause.
Citrus bioflavonoids will strengthen your blood vessels.
