Oh no, I think I've bruised my tailbone. I am an exercise addict, what should I do now?

Question:
I've been sick with the flu for 2 weeks and haven't been able to do my almost daily aerobics and running. And today I felt better but fell over and I think my tailbone is bruised. It's not really too painful, just aching more every hour especially when I walk or sit. How long will it take to get better? I am going crazy not exercising. What can I do to keep fit while it is getting better or should I do nothing at all? It's so frustrating.
Thanks for your tips, I'll appreciate them. :)

Answers:
Well you're a dagg aren't you mate?

I did mine about 30 years ago and it hurt like blazes - think I was up again in a few days.

Watch out though - you can crack them too I think, though what they do if it's fractured I don't know -bit hard to splint, eh?

I reckon I'd see a doc if not improved in a couple, just in case.

How to keep fit - all I can think of is isometrics - sorry

HAHA! i dids tha same thing last year! all i did wuz just watch tv like i usually do. but this time, there wuz nuthin to wATCH!
i bruised my tailbone years ago when i fell off my nephews skateboard on the cement...OUCH!! but the bruise will go away in a week or so... if ur in a lot of pain then i suggest u dont do anything physical because it wont help. and besides since u exercise everyday its time to let ur body rest.
