Is it bad to stretch before going to sleep?

i work on my splits and stuff right before sleeping. is that bad? like since i'm not moving for like 8 hours after stretching?

I don't know but I do it all the time and and I also exercise before I go to sleep some times. Ha, Ha who I'm kidding all the time and I'm fine.

No, its not bad for you at all. Stretching helps to give those muscles some tension and get them all limber, then when you lay down they relax again. Stretching to a normal extent (meaning not to OVER stretch) is healthy anytime.

good question! im not quite sure but.i think its fine! i was at my guy friends house once and we came upon a book that gives u secrets to getting taller-----it said if u really stretch in the morning (i mean like a lot) it will help u grow. thought that was pretty cool-so maybe if your still kinda freaked bout the whole streaching before sleep thing, just do it in the morning that way u enhance ur ability to grow and get closer to that awsome split(s)!GOOD LUCK!
