Ear Lobe infection from earrings! Need a QUICK FIX, that can be done at home!!?

Question:
Well, I wore a pair of fake, cheapy earrings, and waah-laah!

EAR INFECTION.

Help me please.

Answers:
Two words: hydrogen peroxide. Put on cotton swab and apply to infected ears several times a day.
hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls good luck
rubbing alcohol
See a doctor. Nothing at home is good enough.

You already have an infection; so hydrogen peroxide and alcohol will not help you now.
boil water and mix with salt

and get some real earrings
squeeze the ickyness out of your ear and then use rubbing alcahol to clean your ear until it heals. Depending on how bad the infection is, once or twice a day. Good luck!
Dipm a cotton swab in alcohol and apply to earlobes. This will fix it.
that happened to me.
well make suer to keep a pair of ear rings in so the holes don't close. even if they are not new.

try to lance it and get the infection out. holding a hot cloth on it helps with pain and swelling. I don't recommend ice.
leave it alone as much as you can but clean it twice a day with salty water to kill bacteria.
if you do decide to open it then make sure to put neosporin on it afterwards.
Use alcohol or peroxide and triple antibiotic
a couple times a day
With a cotton ball clean with peroxide (alchohol is one they say to use, but it STINGS! and peroxide not only doesn't sting but bubbles out the infection-
I found of 30 yrs of having my ears pierced that both cheap and 14K and even some silver can be irritating- I can only wear nickel free earrings now-
I would highly suggest that you replace whatever earrings (even any 14k) for now and purchase nickel free earrings- these are also cheap but they will help prevent further infection and will not irriate your ears.
I had a pretty bad ear inffection, as said aboce hydrogen peroxide. Clean your earrings in the shower to, like twist them around. Before bed and when you wake up fill the cap of the hydrogen peroxide bottle, then dip your ear lobe into it. twist the earring until it feels like every bit was soaked with the peroxide. Then do it to the other one. If it's working, it will fizz and bubble, that's the stuff doing it's job and killing bacteria. Hoping this helps, Just be patient with it. If this doesn't work, you should see a dermatologist or something that will prescribe something.
Best of luck
Well hydrogen peroxide..that helps get rid of bacteria...i have sensetive ears so i can only wear real or sterling silver[which is cheaper than real gold and silver and doesn't cause infections]
My mom used to do this for me all of the time when I was little, and at 26 years old, I still turn to it:

Put hydrogen peroxide water (like 75 cents at the pharmacy) on a cotton ball/pad. Hold the wet cotton against your ear (both the front and the back of the lobe). You are going to hear crackling and popping, but it really doesnt hurt. Keep holding the cotton there until you can't hear the popping any more. Do it morning and night until it gets better.

P.S. The skin on your ear turns a litte white from the peroxide, but that fades away, don't worry!!
If you have an ear infection then there's nothing you can do about it at home. If it's just your piercings that are infected make sure to wash them very well twice a day using soap and water. Regular unsented hand soap should work just fine. If that doesn't work, try some hydrogen peroxide. If that doesn't clear it up, well... I suggest getting your butt into the doc.
Don't wear earrings for a few days and apply hydrogen peroxide 2-3 times a day for a few days. Also apply some antibiotic ointment once a day. Once it clears up, wear some real gold earrings.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE SAYING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. PLEASE DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR EARS! Use sea salt soaks. NEVER EVER put hydrogen peroxide on a piercing. See a real piecer and a doctor!
i just got my ears pierced yesterday and the lady told me to clean it with hydrgen proxide. Also, at Claires there are ear cleaners. Its a pink bottle and it doesnt smell as strong as the proxide but works just as good. Don't wear fakes! Save your money and get nice ones you'll wear for a long time =)
