Should i see a doc?

Question:
i've noticed that if i don't drink at least one or two cups of tea, hot or iced, a day that my hands and ankles swell. i assume its because tea is a diaretic, but should i be worried about the water retention? i've been trying to cut down on my tea consumption because i was up to 5 cups a day and i figured that's way too much. could the swelling be just a symptom of cutting down on tea?

Answers:
I doubt the swelling is because of cutting down on tea. You could be retaining water, but the question then would be why. You may consider speaking to a doctor about why this is happening, though in the meantime if you want to avoid all the tea, try drinking cranberry juice which is also a natural diuretic, and may help if that is the problem.
I would check with your doctor just to be on the safe side. I've never heard of swelling from cutting down on tea.. Not that it doesn't happen just because I've never heard of it! LOL Just better safe than sorry!

Hope this helps!
tea,only two cups a day
I think that you are overreacting. Continue to monitor yourself, and, if still concerned, consult your doctor, then.
i don think its a major thing, Its probably cuz u reduced tha caffeine in ur body but if it gets worse u should...
