9 yr old daughter with a migraine I need advice please!?

Question:
Hello my daughter age 9 gets a migraine every once in a while. I was wondering if anyone had any home remedies for them? She does not do well with tylonoyl and is allergic to ibuprophin. She also complains about being car sick (although we are not in a car). I am nervous and her doc is out until next week.I do not know much about children getting migraines and how to comfort them. Please help. Thank you

Answers:
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Don't give any sour fruit/food.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

My daughter gets them every so often, she is 15 now and they seem to coincide with her period. She does not like to take anything because it just upsets her stomach more. I have her lie down in a dark quiet room with a cold washcloth over her eyes. If she can sleep for awhile, it seems to help the headache.
A dark place is Best when she has a Migraine and a place where it is very quiet and rest.They have these heating pillows that you put in the microwave to warm up and put on the forehead.
Beside the usual migrane remedies like a dark, quiet room and a cold compress, try having her smell a green apple. I have heard that this will help a migraine. She may have an ear infection or other inner ear problem if she feels like she is motion sick. Also, check her vision. Bad headaches can be caused by poor vision and her feeling dizzy could also be caused by poor sight. Good luck and fill us in when you see the Doc.
Make an ice pack, wrap it in a towel and have her lie down with it under the back of her neck. A temporary treatment that may work is the Excedrin Migraine which has aspirin and caffeine. It's not good for long term use because it often causes rebound headaches but, it may get her through the week until she can see a doctor. She may need something like Imitrex to get them under control.
I have really bad headaches also. The best solution is always to try to sleep. A quiet distraction (soft music, if it doesn't bother her) can also help. But you should really take her to her doctor when he/she gets back. Hope she is soon pain free!
