See the doc. It could only be muscular, but you could have a partially collapsed lung or something.
have u health insurance
I dont want to scare you but it is very importent that you go to the doctor as soon as. Just to be on the safe side
I think you need to go to the doctor for any kind of chest pain. I have had a pain like that before and it did pass but if it ever happens again I'm going straight to the doctor. Better to be too careful than not.
.No don't wait for it to pass.
It sounds as if you have pleurisy
If you are not breathing deeply enough because of the pain you could end up with pneumonia.
It is never wise to wait too long when something hurts !
It could be a few things, and dont take this the wrong way but it could be as simple as Gas or as serious as a Pneumonia. how is your breathing?? do you have a temperature? if you do ...Get to doctor.
Hoping its Gas.
Probably nothing but get it checked out.If it is mainly breathing, not moving that gives you pain, it sounds like a lung problem , possibly an infection. or pleurisy.. It could be muscular but would also tend to hurt when you move. See your doctor, you might need an antibiotic.
No don't wait for it to pass, it could be a number of things and it could be nothing but you should get it checked out asap. Make an appointment with your doctor, it doesn't matter how old you are, anything to do with chest pains should be taken seriously.
You need to go to the Doctor or A&E NOW if only to eliminate certain conditions,Good Luck.PAX.
These sound like pleuritic pains, which may be muscular, due to infection, chemical irritation, such as from inhaling noxious fumes, ( including cigarette smoke! ) or rarities like a small spontaneous pneumothorax. ( Lung collapse. ) In any case you need a medical check.
