Has any body got or tried out a memory foam matress?

Question:
How have you found them and did they help with any aches or pains?

Answers:
The pure memory foam mattresses are very hard to get in and out of! I tried a few and found a nice mattress with a memory foam core and mattress pillow top. Go to a mattress store and lay on each bed at least 15 minutes each, to know for sure. If it is a good store, they will leave you alone and let you relax. If they don't leave you alone, tell them to give you some peace and quiet! :)
I got one to help with my bad memory, because you know, it's called memory foam.
I can't remember if it worked or not.
So I guess that means no, it didn't help what I was working to improve. You know, my whatever it's called.
No but i did try it out for a few seconds. i didnt like it at all. I like my matress better. But some do like it so maybe u can try it if u want.
I have a deluxe memory foam topper and its absolute bliss. It has transformed the comfort of my bed.I know someone who has the whole mattress and they have said although it took some getting used to it is also brilliant.I had back ache and neck pain before i had the topper but not anymore.I like it so much i bought the pillow too.
they are very expensive but they do help with the pressure points. my husband is overweight so it gives him a better rest.I got a memory foam mattress pad at walmart for about $75.00 and it's about 3in thick. it has made a huge difference for me. I get a much better sleep and no back pain!
I didn't get on with it at all. I woke every morning feeling really stiff and uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well at all. Luckily the company I bought it from (Tempur) gave a full refund (don't know if they still do this). I think it was because I was relatively light (9.5 stone) and if I had been heavier I would have sunk into it more rather than 'floating' uncomfortably on the surface.
However I found a latex mattress by Dunlopillo really great! I bought one of their pillows too. I choose the less hard variety.
I tried a 4" thick memory foam topper for my bed. It was too soft. I woke up feeling even worse. On top of that it retains heat so I was very hot all night.

A friend of mine has an air bed. http://www.selectcomfort.com
He loves it! He is a big man and all the other beds he has had have worn out and caused dipping in the mattress aafter a time, which caused the bed to be uncomforable. Since he has had the air bed he says he has been very comfotable. It is adjustable to your own comfort levels. I will be getting one for myself in December.
I bought a memory foam mattress for £400 and without doubt is the single best purchase I've made in years. I used to toss and turn to get to sleep, wake up uncomfy in the middle of the night, wake up with a crooked neck which caused discomfort for days and was forever tired - BOOSH! - Bought new memory foam mattress - they initially feel strange due to the thickness and firmness - and I've never had a better passage of sleep in my life! Oh and came with a five year guarantee!
I have the memory foam you put on top of the ma tress fantastic best thing since sliced bread what a difference got it in Rosebuys king size for 65 quid
