With the condition Plantar Fascists, should I expect my ankles?

Question:
to swell too?

Answers:
I think you mean plantar fascitis, unless you have Hitler and Mussolini hiding in your shoes. (Sorry, couldn't resist).
I have plantar fascitis from a long time ago, and every so often when I step a certain way - it hurts LIKE HELL!! Like someone is jabbing a hot poker into my foot. It's old adhesions around the tendons on the bottom of your foot, and when you make the wrong movement they rip and get irritated again.
It usually happens when I'm walking barefoot on sand, or when I step on something on the ball of my foot and it overstretches my foot. The best way to treat it is to avoid the movements that provoke it.
As far as your ankles, I don't know of any reason why they should swell. It is probably two different conditions at the same time. Maybe you need insoles for both? Foot massage -reflexology can help too!
yes they will swell like baseballs it hurts like hell
Usually the pain is just in the foot. The only things I can think of is maybe because of the way you walk to avoid pain your ankles may swell, or maybe it may be that the device you use to correct your condition may need to be adjusted (depending on what you use). It may be too tight, or it may pull too much. If that's not it, perhaps you have a misdiagnosis or something else is going on as well.
