How do you fall asleep faster?

Besides sleep aids and meds...

Sometimes, my mind is too restless and I can't fall asleep. How do I fall asleep faster? Last night I was up in bed for 2 hours.

sometimes the best way to fall asleep is by not trying to fall asleep at all. try lying on your back in bed and look at the roof, everytime you feel sleepy try really hard to stay awake and with out even knowing you fell asleep you'll wake up the next morning. it works for me, try it.
I watch TV for about 30 min. then lower the volume and just listen to the TV... I am out pretty quick that way. It causes me to not think because I am focused on listening.
i use a meditation technique, basically concentrating on and 'mentally' relaxing every muscle in my body. you will have those restless thoughts pop into your mind and you just have to push them out.

other than that tylenol pm or benadryl
It could be related to whatever you are eating and/or drinking at night.Limit your daily caffeine intake and try some deep relaxation breathing exercises right before bed.
I have that problem, too. What I do is sometimes I get a glass of milk, and drink it slowly. Don't drink anything that has caffeine in it, because you will just stay up longer. What works also is to do something that requires that you use your mind a lot, such as a video game. That wears me out fast. Hope this helped.
If you have a TV in your room you might want to remove it. I use to have my tv in the room where I watch it all them time and my room kind of became my seating area like the living room should be. My body was trained to sit and watch tv and not sleep. I couldn't sleep in my room for crap. So, I took my tv out and everytime I got sleepy I would go lay in bed and fall right to sleep. On nights that I am really restless. I would clean the house and thats enough to put anyone to sleep.

If those don't work try sleepy time tea.
do much exercises even at home& do alot of things during day time & reducre if u has noon sleeping time & read before ful asleep..try to solve what u think about ...if u need more advice i had more ****happy dreams****
